Feminist post-punk throwback on a par with past classics

Dream Wife unashamedly cover all-female post-punk legends’ tropes. With the level of quality they have here, there is no need for shame: the guitar riffs are classic in the best of ways, the melodies easy on the ear, even when they shriek the chorus. Fun and edgy at the same time, with an excellent Black-Mirrorish video to boot, this is an absolute winner.
