Noise-pop duo bring down volume and up drama

A few years ago Sleigh Bells made a blast by coupling melodic pop with deafening noise. As exciting as it was at first, the formula wore out. But this duo is too intelligent to stay stuck, and they have tweaked their sound, leading up to this: a dark, brooding track that constantly seems ready to explode into noise but never does, with a hypnotic effect.
