Kim Deal & sister & friends can still make magic

A  few years ago, Kim Deal reunited with her Pixies bandmates for some  excellent reunion shows, but fell out with them (again) and quit right before they released new recordings. Since then,  the Pixies have tarnished their legend by releasing mediocre music (and  we’re being kind here). Now, Deal and her twin sister bring back their  legendary 1990s formation for a blast of old-school indie, featuring her incomparable basslines –  and it sounds awesome!  Guess what the secret ingredient of the Pixies’ magic was?
